By 1851 William, born ~1799, Richard's eldest son, had his own farm. William married Catherine HORNSEY (his cousin?) on 24 July 1824 in North Newbald.

The Hornsea Burton connection

At sometime Richard HORNSEY, the son of William born ~1799 took a farm at Hornsea Burton. This is located to the south of Hornsea with its western boundaries abutting Hornsea Mere. Ann HORNSEY, was his widow.
