Martha ann Crompton and Robert Sissons



Martha Ann was born 18 March 1847 at The Plantation, Acomb, York, and baptised at St. Stephen's Church, Acomb.

On 11 June 1862 she married Robert SISSONS, born in the second quarter of 1841 (GRO ref: Driffield 23 42) at Hutton, at Primitive Methodist Chapel, Hutton Cranswick, where the family then lived.

She died 27 March 1867, aged 21, at Hutton Cranswick.

Robert's second marriage to Elizabeth

In the second quarter of 1870 Robert married Elizabeth CLARKE (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 479) , who was born in the fourth quarter of 1842 (GRO ref: Driffield 23 37).
