John Hudson TOPHAM, sixth child of John and Margaret TOPHAM

The 1901 census shows that John Hudson TOPHAM, John TOPHAM's second son had inherited the farm.

John Hudson was born in the third quarter of 1853 (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 226) In fourth quarter of 1888 he married Thomas crompton WILSON's sister Elizabeth (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 577). Four Elizabeth WILSON's were born in the Driffield registration district between 1864 and 1865 (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 257/253/245/257).

Alice WILSON, eighth child of Ann Elizabeth CROMPTON and William WILSON

Thomas Bielby was born in the fourth quarter of 1859 (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 250). In the second quarter of 1889 he married Alice WILSON, sister of Thomas Crompton WILSON (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 469). Two Alice WILSONs were registered in the second quarter of 1866 (GRO ref: Driffield 9d 265 and 266). Alice WILSON/TOPHAM died in the second quarter of 1955 (GRO ref: Buckrose 2a 26).
