Whyrill the third child of Whyrill was born in the second quarter of 1910.
In fourth quarter 1935 he married Evaline KERSHAW ...

... but the spelling of his name was abbreviated.
Family information suggests that Evaline was a Hilda, known as Evaline but there is no GRO birth record to match this name and spelling. The best match appears to be ...

... Hilda Evelyn born in Glossop in the first quarter of 1909. Glossop is close to Hyde.

The problem isn't resolved by GRO death records. A Hilda CROMPTON died in the first quarter of 1991 (Tameside 39 1717). In 1974 the Registration District of Hyde was superseded by the Tameside Registration District. However the date of birth of this person was 29 September 1908. It is possible that Evaline wasn't registered until the new year. There is no obvious record of Whyrill's death, no matter what spelling is tried.

Their children

There is no direct proof that these are the children of Whyrill and Evaline. The mother of both girl's was a KERSHAW. Ancestry found no closer match.

Margaret was born in the second quarter of 1939, and
Barbara a in the third quarter of 1941.

These entries suggest that, during war time, Whyrill's family moved from Romford, Essex to Bathavon in Somerset.

It is believed:

Margaret first married David M REES (Dai) in the third quarter of 1963 (6b 1536)
and Barbara Anne married Allan KING in the first quarter of 1964 (6b 1536)

Since both marriages took place in Southampton, to grooms with known surnames, these are likely to be Whyrill and Evaline's children, suggesting the family moved to the Southampton area in the early 1960s.

In the third quarter of 1981 Whyrill died in the Southampton area
