In Australia the Heibs had a furniture business and close connections with Donald. Donald and John Heibs, Lilian's brother, played a card game called penny poker. Donald and The Heibs played cricket for Benheigh Goofs, Grand Order of Old fellows, where Donald opened the batting and the Heibs arrived with a keg of beer that had 'fallen out of the back of a van'.
At a very young age, and with a young daughter, Lilian died of an acute inflammation of the kidney. After a period of five years Donald william married, in 1931, for a second time to Annie Murphy ...
