The Federal Australian Electoral Roll, started 1903 and available in Ancestry, give Harry's home and occupation as

where they lived until Daisy's death.

Also recorded was

but since Leslie Crompton BLACKMAN son of William Henry and Daisy was born in 1915 this is likely to be Leslie Crompton BLACKMAN born 1885.

He married Daisy Margaret MURPHY, (Vic BMD 1540/1901) the daughter of John Thomas MURPHY and Margaret RAMSEY (Victoria birth record) or CLACKSTONE (Daisy's marriage certificate), born in 1879 (Vic BMD 2514/1879).

The three BLACKMANs remained at Finlay Street with William Henry changing his occupation.

After the First War he lived in South Melbourne. His first wife died in 1918. (Vic BMD 10021/1918) In 1920, he married his house keeper Elizabeth Keziah DELL, known as Bess, (Vic BMD 13818/1920) and thereafter had very little contact with the rest of the family. In 1921 William Henry was living with his second wife.

In 1926 William Henry had become a gas worker.

In 1931 the couple had moved this time with Leslie Crompton, William Henry's son by his first marriage.

Their deaths

Margaret D. BLACKMAN died on 29 August 1918 (Vic BMD 10021/1918) and was buried on 30 August 1918 in Melbourne General Cemetery, Carlton North, Melbourne City, Victoria, in plot MGC-RC-Comp-AA-No. 107

William Henry BLACKMAN died 21 April 1942 (Vic BMD 4162/1942) and was buried on 23 April 1942 in Brighton General Cemetery, Caufield South, Melbourne, Victoria, in plot Church of England ZF 506 which would be next to his son.

Elizabeth Keziah BLACKMAN died 02 January 1978 (Vic BMD 553/1978) at Brighton Beach, Victoria, aged 80. She was the daughter of Alfred Jo DELL and Lillan Emily CAUSON and was born in Smythesdale, south-west of Ballarat, in 1898. She buried in plot ZF506, the same as her husband William Henry BLACKMAN, in Brighton General Cemetery. Probate (PROV 839/042) was granted; 03 May 1978.
